Lucien Cinq Mars est né le 14 novembre 1932 à Lotbinière sur la rive sud du St Laurent. Il était le cinquième enfant d'Aimé et de Aurore Daigle. Lucien passait sa jeunesse dans son village natal. Il allait à l'école des garçons près de chez lui. Durant les années 50, il travaillait sur le traversier reliant Lotbinière à Deschambault.Plus tard, il travaillait sur une ferme sur l'ile d'Orléans. C'est ici, le 21 novembre 1965, qu'il fut victime d'un chauffard qui s'est enfuit. Il avait 33 ans. Lucien spent his childhood in his native village. He attended the boys scholl near his home. In the 50s, he worked on the fery service between Lotbiniere and Deschambault. Later, he went to work on a farm on the island of Orleans near Quebec City. It is here on November 21, 1965 that he fell victum to a hit and run accident. He was 33 years old.
